GeM is a contactless, paperless and cashless online marketplace that replaced the Directorate General of Supplies and Disposals (DGS&D) .GeM’s three key pillars — Efficient, Transparent, and Inclusiveness — ensure that business in the Government e Marketplace is quick and easy.It is Inclusive since it allows anyone and everyone to do business on GeM, Efficient for conducting business operations smoothly, and Transparent for fair business practices. In addition, the platform seeks to improve openness, effectiveness, and speed in public procurement.

Guidelines To Fill GeM Registration Form
Name of Business Firm : Provide name of the business firm which shall be used to sell products and services on GeM Portal. Please note you must carry registration proof in the name of business firm.
Address of Business : Provide Registered Address Of Business Firm.
Nature of Business : Describe the business activity of the firm such as manufacturer of goods , service provider , retailer ,wholesaler ,destributer , etc.
List of Products & Services to be sell in GeM / GeM :
Enter all the products and services that requires to be listed in GeM Portal for government public procurement. A business can enter multiple products and services by seprating with commas.
Owner's Name : Provide the name of the business firm owner. In case of company, LLP or partnership firm, you may enter anyone authorized partner/director details.
Owner's Aadhar Or PAN Number : Provide the 12 digits Aadhar Number of the business firm owner. In case of company, LLP or partnership firm, you may enter anyone authorized partner/director details.
Type of Firm : Select anyone nature of business entity.
Email : Enter email id of owner or authorized director/partner.
Mobile No : Enter mobile number of owner or authrized director/partner.
Bank Account Details : Provide complete bank details of the business firm under which payment shall be received after goods/services public procurement or on completion of tender.
